    Re: plz help

    This is probably your problem:
    Graphics Card = Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Type of Chip = Unknown Video Chip
That Intel chip is for your on-board video card for your motherboard. You need to get a real graphics card - that thing will not do. Once you do, you'll need to disable the on-board Intel chip via the Device Manager so that it recognizes your new card instead and uses it for primary display.

Read more about this chip and its flaws, as well as what to do with a new graphics card here:

      Re: plz help

Also you may need to upgrade your memory, as windows takes up at least 256mb of it leaving you not much for the game at all, infact according to yor tats you have 80mb free, the minimum for the game is about 256mb to run at the lowest mode, and you don't have that, try closing down a few background programes.

It is a highly graphical game that uses up quite a bit of memory, cpu power and GPU power. Your CPU may be reasonable, but it is doing the job of both computing data and running the graphics, a seperate graphics card reduces this load. Run the Vandiel benchmark test it may tell you that your computer is not suitable. Also you don't have much HD space left when the memory is full it uses virtual memory which is writing to your HD so if you have not much space, then it can't do this.

And people are always asking me: "Why do you hate Dell so much??"

It has nothing to do with the completely inferior parts they stuff in, the totally useless software they package with OS with (which takes up lots of space), or the insane amounts of money they charge for their PoS's.

My advice, instead of just buying a new graphics card, which you will need to do before playing this game, buy a new system. In fact, don't just buy a new system, build your own.

        BTW:
Once you do, you'll need to disable the on-board Intel chip via the Device Manager so that it recognizes your new card instead and uses it for primary display.
You may not need to disable the on-board controller. A lot of motherboards have PlugNPlay capabilities so it should just disable the on-board controller and switch right over to the new card. You'll still need to install the drivers that come with your new GPU though.

Onboard video basiclly stinks for gaming...even silly Wow wouldn't run with that. You need something like an Nvidia or an ATI card and at least 512 megs of ram in the machine.

I've always hated onboard video and went out of my way to avoid it....

            Re: plz help

You had to buy a very low end Dell to get that video card.

Gaming/Video/graphics dells don't come with lowend or tons of software you don't specify.

Dell can put an Nvidia card in.

My MacBook has an Intel GMA950 as it's display driver. Is it because Apple uses 'completely inferior parts' or because this system was never really intended for use as a decent or heavy graphics terminal? Thank god it runs Quartz Extreme though so OS X still looks pretty and my Dock can do that neat zoom thing.

Take a close look at those specs again. That is probably the base system of one of Dells very low end. It was not meant to be a gaming machine. Dell is absolutely retarded when it comes to shipping bulk to businesses but you're finding fault now with them shipping something that makes sense for the systems intended purpose.

Now to be completely fair, the OP may not be able to get an AGP card as very low end systems have a tendency of not shipping with one. You may have to find a PCI card instead. Now if you don't really understand any of that, it may be best to take your system somewhere and tell them what you need. But for the love of all that is good and holy don't take it to best Buy or something. Find a local shop with a good reputation.
