I have an external HD and I was wondering would it be best to just install the game on the local disk (C: ) or can I put it on the external HD and have it run just fine? Any advice is much appreciated, thanks.

I've run it from an external drive with no problems. All that matters is that it has a fast enough connection to be able to load new zones quickly when you move between areas.
