Game crashing when signet cast

When I visit a guard and request that the signet be cast on me, the game crashes.

I'm using the windower.

Is there a new version of the windower that I need or what?

Probably. You'd have more luck asking the windower folks though.

Yes there is a new(ish) version of the program that shall not be mentioned, 3.2.3 I believe. It does resolve the signet/warp taru/sanction disconnection problem apparently, but then again I'm not able to tell you for certain because I don't use it.

I had a problem with the Warp Taru constantly d/cing me a while ago (think it was just after the July update). I don't use the you know what and the problem only affected my main PC. If the OP is using the more recent version of it then they may be having the same problem as I encountered.

I remember making a thread about it here somewhere. I'll look it up and see how I resolved the issue.

I had an error occuring because I was using the teleportation circles in sky, however I had it resolved by running the file checker. Try running the file checker to see if you don't have a animation or something like a .dat that was recently modified.

You're using an old version of the Windower. The newest version will fix it.
