If noone else does within the next couple of hours, I'll try to take a few shots when I get home and post them on my website. You can also check out one of the stickies in "Game Tweaking" that shows you how to up your resolution. I think someone posted some hi-res shots in there.

I'm running on a 7600GT with no problems, so you should be fine.
Here's one screenshot I found at 1920x1440.
I don't think she completely upped her rendering resolution though (it looks kinda grainy). It could also be the screenshot utility. But, it gives you an idea at least.Character: Bricklayer

Re: Anybody have Screenshots of FF in 1680x1050?
If you're shifting from a monitor of rather smaller resolution, or especially PS2 version, you might feel the font sizes of the log window to be too small. Its size is fixed so the larger the resolution, the smaller it shows.
Nevertheless, you'll eventually get used to it. It's just a matter of time, but just giving you a headsup about what to expect.

Re: Anybody have Screenshots of FF in 1680x1050?
Is the warping common to widescreen? (see how the trees to the right and left seem to lean)
The game can handle any resolution you ask of it so long as your computer is good. I play 1280x1024 and the font is about as small as I can comfortably stand it. @_@ But when I go out taking screenshots for wallpapers backgrounds and banners/sigs, I use 1600x1200. Just as further demonstration to what the game can handle, here's my favorite shot so far. (Ulegurand Range at the top of the slide to get ENM key item, 1600x1200 background and overlay resolutions, Draw Distance enhanced, kept as .bmp - be warned it's HUGE) http://www.gobmuffin.net/images/UlegurandWP.bmpGia - Sandy Rank 10

Originally posted by Bricklayer View PostI think it is. I set the config setting for aspect ratio to 16:10 to match my monitor, so what you see is rendering at that setting. It's a bit disconcerting when you're running if you look in one direction or another, because the perceived distance to objects in the periphery changes as you look directly at them (if that makes sense).
Anyway, you don't need a high resolution to make the game look pretty. Just hack the background resolution to beyond your display resolution and it will look just as good, if not better, without making the font too small.
Also, that Uleugrand pic really needs DrawDistance. The cliffs just end suddenly with nothing behind them.
