macro is what the g15 does, lets me assign more than one key press combination.

there are macro controllers (called programmable) for the ps2

I have just got a G15 Keyboard bought by a friend for me for helping him out. have set all the ALt 1, 2 etc and ctrl keys onto the g pad to speed up the use of in game macros. It is much easier than having to use 2 hands or strech accross the keyboard to do an alt+9 macro. Its a really nice keyboard and you can set up before game play the time you want on its in built countdown timer on teh LCD. A good thing for the most used macros i.e. Warriors for Provoke timer which beeps when its finished so you know when provoke is up, or for any 5 minute timers etc.

The keys are nice and comfortable, responsive etc and of course they light up blue for night time playing.

I just picked up the logitech g13 gamepad and am having a little trouble getting to work w/ ffxi.

I just set the g-keys to all the mundane stuff, arrows for movement, camera, the f-keys, the enter button, etc., etc. Just so I can use it in place of my keyboard. Not using windower or any macros.

But XI isn't responding to any key presses from it at all. Do you think this is an issue with the way I set up the device or am I going to need to start using windower or what?

Any advice?
