just switched from ps2 ffxi to pc ffxi and...

I never lagged on PS2 because my internet is quite well and I also took that test thing and i got a good score that said i should be able to play ffxi on high quality.

now i set all of my config to lowest standards to test it and i ONLY lagged every 90 seconds for about 2-3 seconds. I wasn't sure why.

so now I put everything on its highest standards and i play perfect exept i lag every 70-100 seconds once agian! so it dont matter what my standards are i just lag every 90 or so seconds and i dont know why!

i have a very high speed connection and never lagged on ps2 or my friends xbox 360.

please help get rid of this stupid lag

nope high speed modem. so many wires lol

Okay, well, I probably can't help you. Maybe your high speed is pinging the provider, and possibly that could interfere?

Is it DSL? As it Satalite internet? Because if it is there's a 1/2 second delay between the sats and it will cause lag every few seconds, man I hate it

nope it isnt. its cox high speed internet. if you like you can look it up. please someone help ^_^
