    Right I'm having an issue with my Content ID. I'm paying via Debit card so instead of it each month it automatically pays the monthly fee, I have to do Contract extentions 1-3 months. I renewed an old Content ID a little while ago and paid £8.99 for a month, with my contract being 1 month. That seemed all fine. But when exited and came back later to start playing, it said that I need to Apply for a contract extention :\ I checked and it said it was ending this month, meaning I would need to apply for an extention. That means I have paid £8.99 for 2 days worth and then I would need to pay £8.99 again for a month!! I contacted a GM and he couldn't help with any issues like that.

    Please help! Surely that can't be right, or are Playonline/SE trying to pull a fast one.

    you have to remember, the subscription is billed on the 1st of every month. Not every 30 days.

    If you activate/buy a content id in the middle/end of a month, you are going to have to pay for it in full and once again on the 1st of next month. You'll only be able to play until the end of the current month before being billed again.

    Thus,
    IT NEVER PAYS TO ACTIVATE IN THE MIDDLE OR END OF THE MONTH.

      NT is right.

      And the reason most players didn't know this until they get placed in similar situations is because the first month for all new accounts is free. In a sense, SE spoils players into thinking that they are getting billed after a certain amount of days and do not realize that SE's billing cycle in as NT has described.

      More aptly put, it doesn't pay to quit and then begin again after a few months have passed.
