POL Error.

OK, I was partying in the dunes, when, all of a sudden, POL crashed. I got the following error:



Now, I have restarted my computer, repaired my connection multiple times and even unhooked my wireless box and rehooked it up again, and I am still getting it. I have no idea why it would suddenly stop in the middle of me using it, and I am just extremely frustrated. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Maybe a connection point on your path to the PlayOnline/FFXI servers is flaking out.

Try this to check:

Start > Run > cmd

In the black DOS window that pops up, type:

tracert www.playonline.com

If you see any unusual numbers (>300 ms) on any connection point in the list that gets generated, that server on your path is having issues. If you see it very early on the list, then you're having issues with your ISP.
