Keyboard on 360.

Whenever I type on 360 at my normal typing speed it will repeat characters.
For example:

/l What is going on, Linkshell?

might turn into this:

/l lWhaht tis sgoing gon, ,LLinkshehll?

And if I hit CTRL+R to reply it will always pop up an r:

/tell Leopectus r


Is there a way to adjust keyboard issues? I know it isn't the keyboard as other people have this problem, too.

My only solution is to type rediculously slow, which is very hard after years and years of building my typing speed.

Sounds like you're using a wireless keyboard. My son had the same issue and I solved it quite easily....move the remote closer. My remote for my wireless keyboard has a 6 foot cord but my couch is 8 feet away from my tv. We bought a USB extension so that we could snake it behind furniture and bring it closer to the couch, which is where we sit when we use it. You may not need to use an extension but if your remote isn't near your keyboard move it closer.

As for replying to /t's with the keyboard, I have the same issue and I'm sad to say I haven't figured out how to get past having an 'r' show up when I go to reply.

I have a buddy who has the same problem on his 360, but he is certainly using a corded keyboard.

Funny thing is that the keyboard works all great on his PS2. I'm thinking it is either the brand of the keyboard or some software issue that will be resolved "eventually".

Same thing here. I am using a corded Belkin keyboard. It was a very nice keyboard, not a cheap rip-off. And it does exactly what Sussurus' does. Actually, when I hit Capslock, or Num Lock, none of the lights come on. I'm wondering if it's the game, or the keyboard. ; ;

Sounds like a compatibility problem. I wish they would test that crap and let people know what will or will not work with it. Or at least say "Some keyboards will not work correctly with the 360." I bought a wireless Logitech one and that one didn't work with the 360 at all! The store took it back but its a 1/2 hour drive to get to the dang store! That's an hour out of FFXI!! OH NOEZ!!
