oh okay, i just asked because when you go to the Expanded Services thing, it just asks for a serial then it unlocks.. so the manual said.. but thanks...
What if I installed it on the PC.. and unlocked it... then I went to my PS2 version and logged in.. would I need it installed then?

Yeah, you'll have to install it on both. Stuff like areas is harddrive based. If its not on your ps2 or pc harddrive it won't let you go there. You have to install it, then go to expanded services to unlock it. an account only need to be registered once. you can register without even installing the game. all you need is POL.
Now after you register, if you want to be able to acces the new zone, the system you login will need to have the expansion installed. So if you want to go new zone with Ps2, your PS2 will need to have ToA installed.There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence

Alright.. one more question... say if I become a Blue mage on my PC... (with TOA) then I dont got TOA for the PS2 and i went to play my char.. if I dont have TOA.. I dont have the job... so what happens then?Comment

Your login attempt will probably fail. Without the associated maps and material installed, there's no way the game can render your environment.Originally posted by Karinya
