Can anyone help me? FFXI Update never completes...
I don't know whats going on. It must be a connection problem because I haven't seen anyone with the same problem. The PlayOnline and FFXI installation was perfect. I select Play to begin playing FFXI but it tells me theres an update available. I begin updating it. Once its downloading '7.DAT.' the download just stays there at either 70% or 92%. I experienced this exact problem with the Beta version (yep, never got to play it).
Can anyone help me? I am using a router btw. I checked all the setting and the firewall is turned off. I also connected my Xbox 360 directly to the modem but its still the same results. I tried contacting Square-Enix but they never helped at all. Infact, they never even replied. Their online chat support is terrible. It says there will be an represantative on the line next and theres never one. I really want to play this game. It looks really good and fun.
