POL res

Ok I know all about changeing the res of FFXI up and down lol, but is there a way to do it to POL as well... I am running my PC on a 52" widescreen and I have to run my stuff in 1200x676 to get it to show everything, and I need to get POL in this smae rez, but I cant -.-

I don't understand what you're trying to do. You can't change the resolution of the POL client. All you can do is either change it into windowed mode or not. Default is Windowed Mode (Basically, it's the 640x480 size, so however large that is on your desktop) The other mode is full screen or in other words, 640x480 stretched. I wouldn't recommend the full screen mode because (a) It's fugly, depending on your monitor resolution and (b) I believe you'll get into problems Alt-Tabbing in this mode in POL client.

I'm not sure why anyone would be obsessed with how the POL client would look anyhow. I like it occupying a small corner of my desktop if I'm not in FFXI, since it's unobtrustive.

in its current state in full screen, both the left and right sides are cut off some and it just bothers me, I solved it by running in windowed mode -.- but I really want it back in fullscreen :p

Are you trying to find out how to change the PlayOnline Viewer window to full-screen?

C Drive > Program Files > PlayOnline > Square Enix > PlayOnline Viewer = the viewer config file should be there. Or if you're not like me and don't edit your Start menu, it's under there too. But I really suggest this; PlayOnline Viewer in full screen is -really- uncomfortable; don't use it lol

I know how to change the size of the window, oh well guess I will just leave it as is, and stay in windowed mode :p thanks for the help though ^.^
