its been a long while since i bought FFXI and i cant remember exactly which version i have. is there anyway i can check to be sure? but that aside this is my problem
first up, i live in australia. about an hour ago i finaly got the new exp pack. awesome i though. i get home, put the dvd in and... you guessed it "please install FFXI to continue" what? i had to log OUT of ffxi to play this. what is going on? ive read that some people are having trouble installing if the version of both ffxi and the new exp pack dont match.is this simply something that requires a new install? (i HATE reinstalling due to the 7 CDs i have >_<) or did i just waste $40 on an unreturnable expansion pack (guy at the store said he cant refund or switch it cuz its an exp pack) that i cant even use? i am able to buy the US version but that is $65 not including postage. i really hope there is a simple thing i can do that will fix this.
