help getting linked to ffxi playonline

just bought ffxi and the playonline wont let me register.

comes up with error code POL-1361

when i go to type my date of birth in.
got playonline viewer working but it wont let me link my x box live gamer tag to my playonline id. how do i do that.

it hasnt even asked me for the codes in the book yet. and i have tried everything going. its doing my nut in now.

could someone please help

first, have you checked the manual to make sure you're not doing something wrong?

yep. checked that.

i even uninstalled it and installed it again.

the game is installed now but cant link the gamertag to the playonline id

is this for xbox 360 or the Pc cause its happening alot on the 360 something to do with congestion traffic(basically too many people tryin to register)
