I just got the hard drive in and ready but my playonline disk dosen't read "cannot read disk"...I realize my playstations old and reads game slowly(you could make a sandwitch form game insert to game screen)but every thing else reads fine even the newer games (call of duty big red one for example) just the one playonline disk.

Uh oh, it seems your playstation's about to suffer from the disc read errors! My Ps2 wouldnt even read discs anymore after a while, and it started out as you stated, reading discs slowly at times. Well, either keep trying, maybe you set the hard drive up wrong, or you need a new Ps2. Or you could just buy the package-deal for the PC, 1 disc includes the origional game, chains of promethia, and rise of zilart.
Edit: When my Ps2 started dying, all my games would read fine except for a select few, that I couldnt even play till' I got my new one.
