NA and JP POL

I could easily find the answer to this by doing it myself, however, I am currently in class and would rather have an answer ready by the time I got home.

I have been using the NA POL ever since it was released, so my JP POL has been collecting dust. However, I want to install and have both on my computer. How would I go about this? Can I just do a separate install having D:\PlayOnline\FFXI 1 and FFXI 2? (Not correct paths, just exs.) Or would I need to have one or the other?

I appreciate the help.

One more thing, where can I find some phrases in Japanese and how to type them out in the JP POL version?

I installed 2 versions of FFXI on my computer, one is japanese, the other is english ^_^.
