Game crashes randomly.

For some reason lately my game has been crashing randomly fully closing out POL. It didn't used to do it. I think it started after the latest patch. Anyone else having this problem?

I had the same problem, talked to customer service, and the guy checked my PC stats, and said it was either the sound card drivers or the videocard drivers. I have the latest from nvidia and the same ones i've always had for my soundcard (both of which I've had for quite a while), and mine start crashing after the recent updates too.

obviously its a compatability issue; he claimed because they didn't have support for the new nvidia drivers yet, but I've had the new ones since they came out and never had a problem until recently.

I also have a corrupt file somewhere in my POL viewer files, so you might wanna run a file check too.

Does the game make any abnormal sounds when it/right before It crashes?

Oh, well, that sucks ( for me ). One of my computers will not run it , because it crashes randomly with a high-pitched scratching sound. Perhaps it is because I use Nvidia's "TC" video card.

happens to me alot too..... but just disconeccts me from server and have to wait awhile for it to be able to go online

mine just used to kick me out. . . Then I switched my graphics card with a better one. But now it gives me the Blue screen of death only about 2 min into the game ;_;

Hmm, more detail is needed about the problems before I could suggest anything. Way to general to give any focus or direction on what to try and fix it. Basically all I can say from what I see is...

Downgrade drivers to see if it works, and on the POL run the file check to make sure none of the files are corrupted.

For the one having the sound issue, is that the speakers making it or your motherboard? The motherboard has a speaker on it also in which it uses a beeping code to indicate certain problems in the system.
