  • NA to EU version.

Recently I have bought the European Version of FFXI including CoP and RoZ expansions.

Before I have been using the North American version of FFXI with the RoZ expansion.

I have made two Content ID's, one for each of the versions and they show up. However I cannot access my handle from my NA version for my EU version.

Is there any way to switch it so that I can play my character on my EU version without having to log into my NA (and consequently delete my NA)?

Ive looked for quite a while now and can find nothing on the subject, the manual said something about "Linking Content ID to a Handle" but thats for Friends X.x

Any help would be much appreciated.

Pretty much how did the importers if there were any activate their characters from a different play online ID?

They didn't. Most importers, both NAs who imported JP clients and EUs who imported NA ones, are still using their imported versions and have to import expansion packs from the same region as well.

I believe you can play an NA Content ID on an EU version but you can't get any expansions to work on that content ID... It's really not worth the troubl ein my opinion. I'm an EU player who is still stuck with an NA client.

you'll need a CoP registration code for ur NA to be able to access the area from CoP expansion.
