ok i just got ffxi about 3 days ago and i cant even install the software because i keep getting errors. (im using PS2 BTW)

Online Certification error
Error Code: POL-1562 (DNAS error -404)

and it tells me to call SCEA. which i really dont want to do. so my question is; wtf is going on?

Call SE. Simple as that. Unless you "acquired" you game by "other" circumstances.

i did call them. all i had to do was reformat the hdd. and i got the game form ebay. which im now learning was a big mistake cuz i've had to call POL about 3 times now and im still not able to play the game...
