Yeah maybe, but I'd prefer solving this matter without spending if possible ^^ Maybe it isn't even a vibration problem and it's just the whole USB port lagging the game or something for some weird reason. If it turns out I still get freezes without vibration (if I can ever manage to deactivate it) then it'll probably mean something.

Well I don't think I should post in this thread anymore seeing this is a different issue.

I am having issues. Trying to return to the game, I am running FFXI through the Steam client. FFXI "runs" but there is random graphical weird stuff going on. Warped or disappearing backgrounds, color washouts, etc. Nothing crashes, but it becomes unplayable when I can't see where I am or where I am going. Any thoughts or recommendations? Driver downgrade? Thanks for any help.

mmmm that worries me, because I was getting ready to buy one of those cards for my gamer rig, but yeah, try shutting off anything "extra" that your video card might be doing. If no go on that, then try the driver downgrade.

I appreciate the effort, but that thread is years old and I didn't see my card, or any of the new GTX cards, listed anywhere in it.

WD, have you tried disabling the game optimization profiles?

I've seen mention of game profiles but have not been able to find any to disable. I'll look some more.
