Yeah maybe, but I'd prefer solving this matter without spending if possible ^^ Maybe it isn't even a vibration problem and it's just the whole USB port lagging the game or something for some weird reason. If it turns out I still get freezes without vibration (if I can ever manage to deactivate it) then it'll probably mean something.

I am having issues. Trying to return to the game, I am running FFXI through the Steam client. FFXI "runs" but there is random graphical weird stuff going on. Warped or disappearing backgrounds, color washouts, etc. Nothing crashes, but it becomes unplayable when I can't see where I am or where I am going. Any thoughts or recommendations? Driver downgrade? Thanks for any help.

mmmm that worries me, because I was getting ready to buy one of those cards for my gamer rig, but yeah, try shutting off anything "extra" that your video card might be doing. If no go on that, then try the driver downgrade.
