  • WS modifiers on gungnir

why is it that the relic WSes have modifiers that make sense compares t the job while the drg relic WS geirsokul, on the gungnir. has an agi modifier stat according to wiki. while the rest of the drg wses all have STR modifier. also why is the hidden effect "shock spikes" instead of something to do with the wyvern.

to answer your question, AGI is the second modifier not the first modifier which is STR.
    but why AGI? who knows..

Which site says that the first modifier is Str and not Agi? Wiki has been pretty dependable for me, so I'd be more inclined to believe them.

As for why, does it really matter? So you just merit agility instead of str, there is alot of endgame gear that has some +agi on it, so it's not like it's a hard +stat to find either.

You might as well ask why doesn't it give similar effects as Metatron Torment or Scourge, it's different, but being different doesn't mean it's bad.

      EDIT

Forgot to mention that it's also supposed to be a multi hit WS that ignores defense, so it's not like it's a bad WS either. Added effect of the weapon is also weakens defense. Sure, the added effect from the WS isn't that great, but the rest of the weapon's stats are pretty good.

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.

I don't have a big ego, it just has a large mouth.

        Re: WS modifiers on gungnir

Wiki prolly got the data from this website, which gives the SECOND attribute modifier not the first modifier.
the first modifier in most WSs is STR.

          Re: WS modifiers on gungnir

"Primary" modifiers are just melee attacks, basically. So STR and attack. "Secondary" modifiers are the things that VZX was nice enough to supply to us all. So yes, the "Secondary" and only modifiers of Geirskogul is AGI60% which is almost as retarded as Shock Spikes.

Things to remember about those things: they're only modifiers. They're not the end of the world.

One more time: Agi60 and Shock spikes is retarded. That's like R.acc on an O lance or something.

I was thinking of what could have been SE's reasoning behind R.Acc on stuff like the O Lance. I was lol'ing at that.

                    Re: WS modifiers on gungnir

that would almost make sense, sir. And nothing in regards to DRG does just that. In this case, Angon is 100% accurate.

O lance is to increase your chances of actually hitting things with Pebbles. But when I say "things" I mean level 43 mobs (assuming your Warrior SJ has capped Throwing skill) since having no natural ranged skills would make acc+2 worthless on anything even 3/4ths your level.

according to wiki. geirsokul is a 1 hit ws. with no mention of if it ignores defence. what im thinking of that would make more sense for a effect from the ws is make the wyvern do holy breath or have it give a short boost to wyverns attack/acc etc
