Re: I need more space
I believe they've said Mog Lockers will continue to get larger, too. Though I guess they could have just been talking about this update. 60 + 80 + 60 is pretty good, without even taking furniture storage or armor storage NPCs into account.Ellipses on Fenrir
There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

Re: I need more space
Mannequins. You can get up to 8.
Thats storage 8 + 8x5(40) armor slots.
Once your mog locker is complete, move to your town and use Olduum Ring to get to Aht Urghan.Read my blog.ffxibrp.livejournal.comCurrently: Entry #32, August 31/07.

Re: I need more space
I have 80 slots in my Mog Safe, 60 slots in my back pack, 60 slots in my Mog Locker, and 37 Storage. I have 3 full sets of AF that are in storage, along with my RSE, but I level A LOTTA jobs!!! I have two jobs in the 50's, one quickly approaching the 50's, and I'm a RDM75. So I have MP gear, MND gear, INT gear, and Skill Gear to mix in with MND & INT set for EXP. I also have my RDM solo/melee gear as well. That takes up a lot of space. 8 Elemental Staves, 6 to 8 Rings, 4 earrings, 3 Torques, two Belts, and 3 different hand pieces. NONE of that includes my AF. That's 26 slots right there alone!
Now keep in mind Lv. Cap things. BCNMs, CoP Missions, Lv. Cap'd Assaults, you name it. These things add up! I have three mules and at any given time that mule is completely packed and has no room for anything. I usually have 55/60 items filled when I EXP as RDM. Carrying food, Echo Drops, all the gear, and then anything that might drop during EXP. I would really like them to add more sets of gear to the NPC Storage system. I think the last full set of gear you can store that's NOT you're AF, is Lv.50. Now I don't know about you, but I've bought full sets of things just so I could store the three pieces I use! You can't store HQ items, or it loses the HQ status, and then there are the random Rare/EX items you've collected over the years. Weapons and gear from NMs that you can't send to a mule, and can't store.
The game's been around long enough that a lot of people play a lot of different jobs. I'm sure most people know people in the LS that have multiple Lv.75 jobs, or themselves have multiple Lv.75 jobs. Or like me are leveling DRK and WAR in the Lv.50s and working on getting SAM there. So you're carring Ninjutsu tools, multiple weapons for different occasions, a stack of maybe two or three different types of food, maybe even spells for the next level, TP gear and then STR build for WS. That stuff adds up.
I would love a means to store weapons, earrings, rings, and keys. I think somebody mentioned a key chain key item. A ring that wil store all the keys you have for a fee of course. So if you farmed all your AF Coffer keys well in advance, (Like I did for SAM so I don't have to bother asking for help when I'm actually trying to get the items.) and then you don't level the job a while. You have three keys for coffers and then the key for the AF hands just taking up space. I think I currently have 12 keys in my Mog Locker. Some are for maps, some are for missions, some are for AF Coffers, either way that's 12 slots I could be using to store something else.
A jewelry box would be nice too. A place you could store earrings and rings in, and then go and get the ones you need, and leave the 4 different sets of Lv.14 rings, or Lv.40 Acc Rings, and Lv.36 STR rings some place where they don't take up space, and you don't have to spend 10 minutes finding what mule you stashed them on.
Guy in my Ls comes to mind who has 4 Lv.75 jobs, I think he has 4/5 AF2 pieces for WAR, 2 pieces for RNG, and a handful of AF+1 pieces as well on top of Kirin's Osode, Kogi pieces, crafting gear, and weapons. We tease him saying he'd need two mules just to house all the Rare/EX gear he's gathered over the years.Odude

Re: I need more space
Drop support for PS2 and go all out with PC.
With 256mb video cards going for $30 on eBay, it's not gonna cost you much to get a great machine. Besides, you'll find many other uses for it.

Re: I need more space
We totally need to get into the "drop the PS2" debate again here. It's vital.Ellipses on Fenrir
