DRG can equip Hecatomb set and also Crimson but its sucky for DRG so we cant count it.
Theres also the Homam set that only DRG,THF,PLD,DRK and BLU can equip, none of the jobs that are on Osode and vice versa.

In the intro to FFV, is the king a dragoon? In other words, does he ride a wyvern? It would be cool if dragoons could travel on their wyverns ^^

Re: Why does SE withhold support for subbing mage to DRG through gear?

Yes, I realize that DRG is not highly dependant on MP in its current use, but I'm not specifically asking for that. I'm asking for some mage gear, and its various bonuses, to be made available to the job.

For instance, imagine a level 20 DRG wearing the Baron's set. With the added MND and INT, he may actually be able to use a spell for something other than a Healing Breath trigger. The +hMP would be amazingly useful for preserving TP. The +enmity might even make sense in this circumstance.

Here's another example. Imagine a DRG playing in a vermillion cloak. You're looking at a minimum of 15 seconds to generate enough MP for poison to trigger healing breath. That's definitely nicer than nothing at all, but ask anyone who can already equip it, and they'll assure you that when you're in a bad way for MP, Auto Refresh is hardly groundbreaking.

Boosts to INT and MND would probably be the most noticeable difference. Boosts to MP would also be beneficial for party use in the same way DRK benefits--in other words it depends on what you're doing and whether you have a refresher to help out. Refresh and +hMP would likely be the more noticeable benefits of such a change. Then again, such a monumental change would boil down to helping TP preservation to bring a mage sub closer to acceptance.

As for +HP for our wyvern, I'd love to see a few pieces pop up pre-50. In fact, a decent pair of gloves as an alternative to battle gloves for 13-42 levels would be greatly appreciated. One other thing that would make mage subjobs more acceptable would be something to give the wyvern Fast Cast--or just Haste in general.
