    Re: Any questions for SE?

    I would ask SE:

Would it be better if the economy was completely NPC controlled? Gil would become like CP, all items Ex and all sales handled by NPC that buy/sell things for a fixed price, of course this would mean no trade between players at all.

Would that stop RMT and cheaters?

I don't really care if I buy an item from the AH or an NPC, same about my sales, if I could buy and sell everything to and from NPC I'd rather deal with that than with other players.

An Assault/Conquest system to buy and sell everything in the game getting rid of the player based economy would make this game a paradise for me.

(Although I'm aware I might be the only one thinking that way )

It's just a thought, don't take it too seriously.

      Re: Any questions for SE?

Conquest and Imperial Standing should have been expanded to become a secondary and tertiary market to take pressure off of the gil. If more was available, there would be less that we would have to turn to the AH for, and in turn less need to purchase gil.

CP and IS would have to be more accessible though, even though it's currently easier to obtain in game than gil.

What about it? Sounds like a fun place to hang while LFG or to kill a few minutes before logging. Not everyone enjoys standing around for hours hoping for that {Party} {Do you need it?} tell, so might as well have some fun. Strange concept I know. Fun on a video game!?

Unless.. oh.. I see.. you're also curious about if their adding a Golden Saucer type zone for players to enjoy. Me bad, totally misuderstood.

There's a general concensous on this issue, but I want the official answer:

Q: What exactly affects a magic enfeeble landing, procing and duration? Does two int = 1 enfeeble skill for gravity and blind and does two mnd = 1 enfeeble skill for slow and paralyze?

Q: What factors go into the drop rate for Notorious Monsters?

                Here's a big one:

                  Re: Any questions for SE?

Question: Will SE finally drop support for the dying and dead system known as the PS2? We know that most memory conflicts and game conflicts are due to the limitations of the PS2.

Question: Will the new sequel to Final Fantasy XI allow us to move our characters and our data to the sequel? I don't mind learning how to play a new game, but I'd rather grown fond of my character, and his tubby shortness, and I would like to watch him grow and continue on in the sequel.

Question: Will FFXI ever support the Logitech G15 keyboard LCD use, as a alternative to displaying recast timers? Instead of using Windower or any other 3rd party application, it will directly integrate with the G15 keyboard and display information into the keyboard's LCD displaying recast timers.

they answered this already in one of the announcements, chocobo breeding will be like gardening. OTOH, as the fellowship NPC was a test for the PUP class, this could be a test for... wait for it... wait for it...

Dying and dead? Half the people I know still use PS2, and PS2 is still the best monthly selling console. Besides, we've paid double the price to buy the PS2 version of the game($99 for our copy) and we're at least entitled to the same support from SE. And a large percentage of JP users use PS2.

no, I think the PS2 support is never going to go away. for my (and others') reason why, take a look at the future of FFXI thread started by onionsoldier.

Fantastic question, when will SE alienate half their customer base to placate a few? I'm sure they've made enough money and have no problem shedding a few hundred thousand players to make you happy.

                              Background:
I am a lvl 72 Summoner, and I have been stuck at 72. Thats due to my very strict pting guidelines I will not cross. In all my 72 lvls I have only main healed a pt 4 times. I am currently unable to advance in lvl due to my play style. I was under the impression any job can be played as so the player sees fit. But this is untrue in my case. So I ask this in hopes of one day reaching 75, while not useing my sub (/whm) to get a pt invite.

Q: Are you aware that Summoner is just a gimped White Mage? You have said your looking into this but we would like some details. Are you planning on giveing us some reason to be what we were ment to?

I believe this coming Monday is the big update on jobs. Best to hold off on job questions until we see how much SE has played with everyone's jobs. For all we know, summoners have been banned from healing and monks are main healers now.

                                Panic.. panic now.
