For the subject line, please put one of the things:

1 minute doesn't seem like long enough... maybe set all of the new subjob's JA and recasts to maximum, dispel all buffs on you (same as changing inside the MH), and reset your TP? Even then, I bet someone would find a way to abuse it to have the benefits of more than one SJ in the same fight, if it was a long enough fight. All of the above + 10 minute Weakened?

Having it not work when you have hate from any mob would help a little, but you could still log out to reset hate, then use your portable moogle. Or do it right after you die - then you have no buffs or hate and are weakened anyway.

Re: What you think about allowing players to sub 2 jobs instead of 1?

I had in mind Weakened status + mp set to 0 + all recasts (or at least those tied to SJ) of JAs/Spells set to max as if just used (not 2 hour though, of course). And tp set to 0, Sch charges wiped, and job change-styled buff wipe. Yeah, I don't leave much room for exploiting. Long battles aren't an exploit -- if you're fighting an hour-long HNM and realize pld/nin just isn't keeping up with the magic damage, getting one tank started on changing over to /rdm is tactical, not exploitive. Likewise, a weakened DRK would want to keep helping with Stuns. If he decides he needs SA, death makes an excellent opportunity to swap over. He shouldn't be pulled out of Stun duty for long for it.

Better than being stuck /nin to everything because a) you just never fucking know when you'll need shadows and b) cheap sneak/invis.

But none of that is really what this thread's about. I always thought it'd be interesting (read: I do not endorse this idea) to be able to choose one trait or JA of subjob level to set in addition to your main/sub. So rdm/whm with Elemental Seal would work, but not whm/sch with Convert since 'vert's still over level 37.

Seems like a much more toned down version of "sub's sub" concept.
