  • Is it really that bad?

Why is it so hard to get your former account retrieved? Why is it so hard to track any actions done on your account if you were hacked or your so called friend takes your items?

I may be wrong but I'm assuming all actions done on your account is saved and recorded so I'm not understanding why so many have issues with retrieving there accounts back or getting there accounts restored to the way they were before someone else logged into there account. I do understand there is a disclaimer but I just can't find out why the disclaimer is the way it is. I don't have a solid trust that if something happens to my account I will recieve a explanation I could accept.

SE doesn't come here and read/respond to these threads. You're question is never going to get answered here.

Good luck finding the answer to your questions.

This section of the forum is to pose questions to SE and when there is a question and answer panel that one of the staff can attend, they choose questions to ask them.

Maybe the name of this section should be changed to "Questions for the next SE Interview."

In regards to the OP, it really isn't that bad at all. I have several friends who have had rollbacks done in the last couple of months. Typically, the entire process takes 1-2 weeks.

The only one who had any issues was hacked twice. She had 0 anti-virus or spyware software and took no actions to protect herself after the first hack, while she continued to download random dat files.

Well, given my experiences with the powers that be I'm under the impression that they have very little way of tracking what characters actually do. Meaning the only way they can 'catch' someone hacking or participating in RMT is if the person admits to it somehow in one of the chat modes. It's pretty stupid actually. And I hope its really not the case, but it seems that way to me...
We know the characters aren't real, we just don't care. :3
