I am aware this has been suggested before, and it well under discussion in many forms & threads.
I am also aware that a similar issue exists with in WoW, namely the gold/Gil sellers and the seperation between farmable valuables and equipment, the value of which is starting in the price range of 500k to a few million gil.
I believe SE's current actions have reduced the troubles greatly, but the issue remains consistant.
My question is why has SE not basically done what blizzard has done, and made the availability of gil so easy that it basically negates the purpose of the gilseller?
If the quest rewards were updated, NPC sellable item prices adjusted and the mob gil drops were adjusted there would be an initial inflation but less demand on the GS market as a person could easily farm up the gil they need instead of buying it with RL currency.
