Does SE have any more plans for the solo/beginner player?

While SE has offered BST and RDM to the solo player, the game is still significantly built around party play. Many people have a hard time making friends/relationships and lose a lot of game experience as a result. All of the best missions/quests/equipment must be obtained in a party setting. This is especially hard for new players who have no prior set friend base. Is there something SE can do to connect the solo/beginner player with the game on another level? One of my fears of starting 3 years late was that I was soo behind, and I was soo right...

    For all you FFXIO flamers:
You can say try "this" and "that" and all you need to do is "this". Well, you're wrong. Your opion is biased for too many reasons for me to name, so, just no.

    Thanks,

Re: Does SE have any more plans for the solo player?

The game is a MMO, and is built entirely on party play. They have never intended a job to solo from 1 to 75, and I don't think they meant any NM/HNM to be able to be soloed either. All that is due to players experimenting with gear/sub and such.

If they wanted solo play, they would of made it a one-player game. I personally think that the signet changes for small parties was great. It helped people leveling jobs when there weren't enough to form a full party. I think the only problem with it now is that many people don't know where to effectivly duo/trio since all camp guides are based on a well formed party of 6. But there are plenty of places a trio can mow down Even Match prey for good exp/hr.

If a person has a hard time making friends/relationships in game, why would they start playing a MMO? Surely people are not oblivious to the fact that this game is very much based on the community within, and if you are the type of person that doesn't get along with others, a MMO isn't for you. (you in general, not directed at any one person).
