    If he died! Regardless of the timer.

      Well, you learn to get over being sorry that he died. Because he dies. A lot. Especially prior to Spirit Link.

        Yeah, like I'm going to dwell on it for years to come.... right.

        I was just saying that most DRG's wouldn't leave their Wyvern to fight alone while they ran away because they'd be upset it'll die.
        They aren't like avatars and BST pets where you can just get another right away.

          Um, ok? I only posted because your initial statement was confusing, and then you clarified, and I said that you'll learn to get used to it. I didn't say you'd cut your writs or anything. Geez.

            Dragoon = new emo?

            All kidding aside, I think I know what he means ... those that play Dragoon seriously as their main job consider their wyvern to be more than just a "robot" pet. It's like a real pet, man's best friend.

              Dragoon was my first main job. I cared when it died, sure, but only because I had a two hour timer to wait out until it returned. If anything, sometimes sacrificing your Wyvern would be a useful strategy.

              But if people disagree on an RP level, I can certainly understand that.^^

                Here's a question, how do you RP yourself out of getting aggro from a crab in Kuftal and having that crab beat the crap out you and your wyvern? Do you just "turn off" the RP then? Well you can just turn off the RP if SE adds an ability that sacrifices the wyvern.

                  I have no idea. I don't even know what that means, to be quite honest.
