I'm back! (kinda sorta)

I just attempted to sign into my account again after months and months and months. Sadly... It seems the password info I had from before is no longer correct. I tried every combo I could think of and it keeps telling me that my POL Password and/or ID is incorrect. After some looking around, I cant seem to figure out how to remedy this. Anyone know?

I'm back on as well, and kind of overwhelmed by everything (as is wont to happen after any extended break). I'm not sure of the first thing I should be doing, but as an 82 Red Mage, I suppose I should be burning an additional 17 onto that, and start worrying about skillups when something comes up that I can't seem to fight reliably any more . . .

Of course . . . it probably doesn't help that my gear is all super out-of-date, as well . . .

(IIRC, though, the 95 limit break is going to be a bit of a pain . . .)

Can anyone tell me what the current fascination is with BLMs and Stone I? Are BLMs really fully meriting Earth accuracy now and if so, why?

Skirmish and the newish Skirmish(or better) Gear + Atinian Staff (or Skirmish Staff or better). With 5/5 stone affinity and SoA gear you can do 1-2k stone I nukes which is really MP efficient for things such as Skirmish where mobs are immune to sleep and there's little to no time to rest for MP.

Note that the BLM does not have full skirmish gear at this point (evident by the BLM+2 body) but he is using the Atinian Staff.

Adding more (sorry to re-edit multiple times, in the middle of something here)--You basically want to use tier 1 and tier 2 nukes (aga and singles) for events like Skirmish. As you can see from the video, there was literally never a point where enemies stopped coming and you fail the run if they destroy your camp. The BLM in the video did (I think) use blizzaja at one point, but the knowledge not widespread at this point as he even stated himself that Skirmish II just came out when he made the video.

The nuking revamp made Stone the most MP-efficient line of nukes, and it made lower-tier spells across the board more MP efficient than higher-tier ones.

That being said . . . Stone I? Really? As a Red Mage, if Chainspell actually let me cast it 100 times/second, I could understand, but as it is . . .

So is this setup entirely dependent on SoA/Skirmish armor? I don't have the expansion and I still have Ice/Thunder merits and ToM staves.

When was the nuking revamp implemented?

How do you display the description of an item when it is collapsed? For instance, what do I need to do to see the enchantments/augments on my Arka IV? It just shows the level/damage/delay and jobs, with a little triangle in the lower right-hand corner.
