I tried to get the scoop on it via the forums, but they're kinda shitting the bed atm so I figured I'd ask here.

Anyone who still plays XI and has access to the test server care to comment on the new UI?

No experience but the pictures from the official forum made it look pretty bad...

I mean, maybe it was low resolution, but the windows and boxes looked like something from Windows 95/98 :/

The original menus have a much nicer aesthetic...

That's one fugly UI... what did they do? Transfer the incompetents who created the original FF14 UI to the FFXI team?

I like how they've organized it, but the aesthetics... ugh wtf total eyesore.
