If it's anything like the Anniversary Ring then no.
Thankfully the game has a way to get you a ton of XP very quickly at Pre-Abyssea levels.

Well.. I know there are the books and other rings now.. and another double xp weekend this week.. but by and large it is still like pulling teeth to level in this game.. I know it use to be a lot worse though
