Hi ^.^ Odin linkshells?

It's pretty hard to get any info since there's sites scattered everywhere and everyone has different playtimes etc etc. Just trying to find out if anyone on here is from Odin, and knows of any decent LS? I'm just on the look out for a laid back shell with minimal requirements seeing as I'm a stay at home mom. Looking for friendly people though who enjoy the game and respect others and are active. I'm on the east coast time, I have 99 BLM DNC THF then a few other 90 range jobs and then I'm working on all the others. I haven't done a ton of endgame stuff, but I have access to some stuff.
Thanks in advanced though for any info. I am going to add I do have a decent LS atm but I'm looking for something fresh.

Good luck in your search. I don't think anyone of the regular posters here are on Odin unfortunately.

Honestly, most of the regular posters don't play anymore. There was a high concentration on Velefor, but Hayde may be the only one left playing there (and he may not play anymore either). Rom and I (and Yyg, but he isn't active right now) are on Cerberus. Um, YM is on Carbuncle (maybe?) and Satori is on Leviathan. That may be all that still play.

I still "lurk" on Valefor but my play time has drastically reduced due to the lack of content available--or I should say, content I can do with my LS (which is generally 5 people around at best).

Yeah I basically went inactive on Valefor due to a lack of players in my timezone which really limited the content that I could do and when. I've considered a server hop but I'm not 100% sure as to where the EU population for FFXI is or even if it's consolidated on one server at all.

Squiggs hit the nail on the head really. Up until about 3 years ago, the vast majority of us were still playing. Then something strange happened and we all caught a case of "ehh... I'm bored with this" and one by one we started quitting.

I ran the LS Squiggs was referring to on Valefor... and at one time we had something close to 15 people on this forum who were active members of the shell. For reasons still unknown to me, the LS dissolved quite rapidly until all that were left were the sparse few of us who stuck it out.

For a while it was Murphie, Hayde, Mhurron, Tiponya, Cidbahamut, Firewind, Satori and I... as well as Neighbortaru and his wife when they would pop on from time to time. Eventually Murphie left to join Taskmage on another server, Mhurron and Tiponya quit not only the game, but the forum, Satori stopped playing, Firewind stopped playing and Neighbortaru fell off the face of the earth. Cid, Hayde and I held it together for a while hanging out with one another until Cid left to play GW2 and I eventually just got bored with the inactivity on Valefor and tried my hand at changing servers to Cerberus. After moving to Cerberus, I only played for about a week before quitting myself... but for reasons related to Real Life.

Squiggs list of currently active players on this forum is complete... sadly. As for the most densely populated... that would be Cerberus. I'll be resubscribing myself not long from now to join them again.

Thanks for the replies, I've been on Odin still, but I was considering a server transfer. A few people have said Phoenix, Siren and a few others in a group I belong to on facebook but I am having a hard time detaching from Odin haha.
I may start a character for play instead of just mule on one of the above servers. I am in a linkshell at the moment and have been but they just are very strict as of late, and well I play the game to relax, not to have 10 lps for different events, and have to attend events because it's mandatory or else I don't get help at all. My schedule conflicts with alot of their events but they ask me to remain in the LS because they want to help and they like me and such but at the end of the day when you say hey I see you are not busy can I get a hand with x and nada, even after you attend events. It's just a tad frustrating. It's ending up like a core group of folks getting everything they need then everyone else has to fend for themselves.
