Gobbues aren't bad once you get to know them. They are also pretty good with plants.

Well yeah if your going BST. There are places I'd like to live outside of Sandy, perhaps if I did a tribal with the beastmen in Ghelsba outpost, since in the storyline they do have it rough. Then again kidnapping children isn't the right way to do things. I'll wait for the sassmouth beastmen jokes.

If I had to live in Jueno I think I'd want to get a job working on the airships. I think that'd be fun and you'd probably get nice vacation time.

Jeuno seems like a good idea, actually.

But I probably seriously would like to live in San d'Oria, if only for the cooler (yet habitable!) climate there. The politics kinda suck (but at least most of the royalty are requisite badasses), but then again you could say that for most places in Vana'diel, apart maybe from Rabao (probably my second choice, in spite of being in the middle of freaking Altepa), and you can possibly make a case for Windurst.

Solitude, peace and serenity. I'd likely build a house right inside the rocky caves at the center of the island closest to the Ferry.

As for a Job, I'd retire as a Summoner/Fisherman and catch my dinner while I lounge on the beach. I'd travel to the mainland once a month or so to sell my surplus catches and barter for supplies in Mhaura.

San d'Oria was always home to me, from day one. I still remember the first time I came "home" from Jeuno, it felt like a homecoming, if that makes any sense at all. Running through town to the sound of those bagpipes was always something great to me. I felt like it was my own personal fanfare, lol.

I would definitely settle there for a long time. I'd head on down to the woodworking guild and get some mats and build me a lovely house in the residential area.

Plus you know, San d'Oria is probably the only 1 of the 3 cities that just isn't outright screwed. I mean it's a bloody fortress, has a nice natural forest around it so resources are abundant (mind the Orcs, lol).

Bastok is way up in the mountains where shit all can grow, and the land around windurst is dying because of the Horrutoto ruins.

I think I'd enjoy living with you Yyg. Provided you could put up with my pestering you for advice on XI. I can see it working out. Small family, you work everyday I stay home and watch the kids. Sounds romantic.

Ah, might as well use them for something useful. Because the chances of me going back are pretty slim unless a miracle happens and they fix and unlock all the things I'd like to do in the game with the next expansion. <_<;
