If Vana'diel was real, where would you live?

Just thought I'd give this a shot. If Vana'diel were real where would you live and why? What type of house would you build there? Also what job would you retire as to keep yourself alive during that period?

For me I picked Yuhtunga Jungle, I'd more or less build along the lines of a Hawaiian beach house. As for the real location of my home I'd probably post it near the waterfall going into Sea Serpent Grotto. Now mind you I'd be plentiful for food for quite awhile. I wouldn't mind trying Sahagin or maybe hunt down a Malboro for jerky...Malboro Jerky. I'd most likely retire as either a PUP or maybe a BST. I'd say BST and would probably ride Falcorr around as a mode of transportation. Sounds good.

I'd probably live in Selbina. The beach is right around the corner, and I might actually get to see Valkurm Emperor. Plus, there's plenty of seafood to eat. I'd retire as a DNC or a WHM, because that's how I've spent most of my time.

Windurst, the vast majority of the eastern continent seems unexplored by most of the NPCs in the game so who wouldn't have fun with exploration?

And deal with the way the taru's speak? No thanks. If I had to pick a Capital City, I'd most likely live in either Jueno or Bastok in the past. Both look good, I'd probably aim for a Chocobo Breeder job since I do like raising Chocobos in game, plus I would love to ride one! Oh wait...and also didn't people say with the new expansions that they live in Abyssea? I wonder what living there would be like.

If I had to choose a city. It would be Bastok for sure. It seems like the climate there is what I'd like. Not too cold but not scorching hot.

If I could choose anywhere definately Selbina. I'd still be a bst pup smn just to give the new adventurers something to look at. I'd spend my time in the dunes collecting peoples subjob items and teaching them how to be an adventurer.

Just like I did in the good old days when I used to run around with mentor status lol.

Sky is just such an awesome place, and as long as I don't cast magic carelessly, is totally safe. It's just so damned pretty up there.

Otherwise if I had to pick a city, probably either San d'Oria or Jeuno - much as I me some cat girls, I just don't like Windurst, and Bastok is too barren.

Remember that you can punt stuff in real life.

Also Abyssea is as bleak and doomed as the Warhammer world so I guess it depends on how much you like spending your entire life fighting eldritch abominations, running from eldritch abominations, losing everyone you know and love to eldritch abominations and living in a world where everything is trying to kill you, even the ground.

Ro'Maeve, Ru'Aun Gardens, The Sanctuary of Zi'tah Best scenery, isolated, mysterious with hidden secrets we only gotten a taste of in ZM. For populated areas, Jeuno or Windurst. Jeuno for it being a hub of whats going on, Windurst for research and Mithras.

I also think if I wanted to be alone I'd go up to Xcabard I wouldn't mind the snow and build snowmen and what not. Granted I'd be a BLM if things got TOO cold.

I thought it was common knowledge that I live in a cabin I made myself in Sanctuary of Zi'tah.
