Lol @ That! xD Thanks Ray that made me smile. After logging back into Valefore it's the same old shit. Everyone ignores one another and does their own damn thing. I think I will transfer to Odin or Asura. One of the two.

I know there are friendly, helpful people on Asura still. There are some that will happily help people all day long. I know what you mean about people ignoring each other and getting on with whatever theyre doing - lots of content is soloable now. But solo all the time isnt fun. Doing events, quests, fights, anything really, is more fun when youre with friends. If you decide on Asura, look me up ^^

I don't see how a server transfer is going to magically fix that. It was like that on Midgardsormr, it was like that on Quetz and it's been like that on Valefor. I'd wager it's like that on every server.

It's the nature of the game right now. Complacent Gamer Syndrome has settled in so if you don't currently massively outgear the content or are completely self sufficient (understandable since nobody wants to sit around for hours on a Pick Up Group farming shit) good luck getting people to help you if you don't have anything to give in return.

Saying that I'm usually willing to help people out as long as it's reasonable:

"Hey Fire come heal on Sobek, we may have to do a little bit of legwork first to get a couple of people KIs. I know your need Orison +2's so I don't mind you rolling on the Cards if you don't mind them being Free Lot." is fine. It's a reasonable request and I might get something I need out of it for helping a friend which is a nice bonus. Let's face it, in Abyssea it's not unreasonable to expect someone to ask if they can roll on +1 and +2 items or Empy Feet from chests that you don't need for helping you out.

"Hey Fire, come sit with me for 6 hours while we farm Sobek items because nobody can be bothered to do a bit of legwork. Oh I'm gonna AFK for 5 so yeah do it all for me. I'm taking all the +2's because you can duo every +2 NM and I'm totally going to make this a waste of 6 hours of your own time." is not. If someone tells me that then I'd probably just laugh at them and explain why (yeah I'm not going to spend 6 hours farming Sobek KIs with you unless you're my friend and/or I like you enough to spend 6 hours in your company), and if you're a dick about it,. I'm gonna go grab a friend and spend 6 hours pulling Sobek off you the second it turns yellow just to be a dick back.

If you see me running around in Valefor (character name Sardia) then let me know. Currently distracted by Guild Wars 2 along with Cid but I do log on every evening GMT time to see if anyone needs anything anyway.

Moved to Ragnarok as of last night. Got my feet seals and body seals done in less than 2 hours. In a very nice LS and honestly no Welfare? God I couldn't ask for a better server. Valefor is slowly dying and I can see that. Plus I burned a lot of bridges there. So I've made my decision to stay over on Ragnarok. Plus I was able to get a free name change by setting my mule to the name of my old character which forced a free name change. I love doing that. Valefor seems to be for more end-game players. Since 90% of the population was already doing VW/Abysssea related stuff.

Well compared to the self-sufficient well oiled Valefor players Ragnarok is pale in comparison I guess Yyg. Like I said I burned bridges with people and due to your work times you wouldn't be able to help me. I do still have a spare content ID I use to Nomad other servers and visit them which is how I study the playerbase. I'm also actually friends with Welfare. -shrug- He's not a bad talk if your willing to hear his point of view out. Plus some how my old name was taken so I had to change it. So I was a tiny bit miffed that I couldn't hold my own name when I went to Valfor. But I got it back upon going to Ragnarok, so that was a plus. I'm only on 11 for maybe to see how the expansion works out while playing 14 on the side I guess. If 11 pans out how I want it to then I'll come back in full swing, if not then I'll be off to 14. So far I am enjoying my return to 11. I also couldn't really find the help I needed on Valefor sadly. The old LS I was in had a drama queen named Ryuakago who kicked me when she was the one who started the drama and made a rule for "no drama" she kicked like 4 other members before dissapearing and then started her shit again on her return. So I wasn't going to deal with it. Upon entering Ragnarok I made one rule clear to myself, "Stick to my friends. Don't stray from the LS. Ignore bothersome people without lashing out at them."

Well I just got my Azure Abyssite before work. I am finishing up ranked when I get home tonight. As for Valefor, I'll poke at it with a long stick. There are people on Rag who have a shit ton of Social Ls's and I already got Iga going for my seals. My leader is taking me to finish up my seals so I can run through Prom on my own. I'll need my AF done as well for my chainmail on NIN. Also screw weapon trials...
