Questions...

So, I am back, and I am currently living on the Shiva Server, is there anyone on here that goes there, or should I transfer to Cerberus? The information on transfering on the PoL website is outdated, and tells me to go to one place, and when I do, the PoL viewer doesn't give me the correct information.

Second question, I bought the game off of steam, but it wont let me use the codes to upgrade my game to get full access to the entire game, including all the add-ons. I have part of them. Do I need to do it through PoL?

Also... My UI is TINY.... no matter what I do, NOTHING will change the size of it, and its getting to me. I figures how to change the graphics and everything, and resolution of the game....

You have to do EVERYTHING regarding ANY purchasing from your Square-Enix account page. Nothing within the PlayOnline Viewer will allow you to make such transactions.

Also, are you returning as a new character, or is this an old character that hasn't transferred within the last 90 days? If it's the latter, then (in case you weren't aware) you can make the Transfer. I'd say go to Cerberus. It's where I was born and raised until I went Server-hopping (but now I'm back there).

As far as the UI goes, I'm am not sure Sorry!

About the UI you can now change the UI size on the Config tool independently from the background res. Unless you already tried that and didn't work, in which case I dunno, maybe you can change it on the registry like you do with Background/Overlay Resolution. <_<;

I did try to change the UI with the FFXI config tool, but it still wont change the size of it. I change it, and it doesnt look any different.

As far as the UI goes, in the FFXI config utility, there are two dropdowns for resolution. The one you likely want to change for the UI is the one for Font Resolution. I inadvertantly changed that one and cranked it to max settings and it made my UI super tiny. You can try playing with that until you get a setting you like.

Also...I'm on Shiva and whether new character or returning character, if you need or want a linkshell we'd be more than happy to have you. We have a great core group of people and we're more than willing to lend a hand when necessary. We're even working on old content such as Missions and Nyzul Isle (currently floor 25 but possibly 45 by the time you read this next).

In game name is Takelli, I should be online in about 5 hours from now. So 8 am est if my friends don't have me go over their house. What are your sack holders names?

And oh yes... I do have a 85 Sam atm. Working on maxing merits and level for him soon. But, I do plan on leveling all jobs to max.

Well...I'm at work right now, and won't be online until much later in the day (6:30pm EST), but you can look up names such as Stonecoat (Shell leader), Mooonwolf, Tisqziza or Lacas (There are more I just can't think of the spellings of some of the names). Just tell them Alle or Mal sent you. They know me by either name. My in game name of course is in my sig.

Thanks. I will send them a /tell then when I log on. I am usually on for most of the day after I get out of wprk if I dont work that night, unless my friends want to do a few things lol.

Could you possibly tell me the name of the linkshell? It would make things easier I think.

By the way... Do you possibly know why my typing is so slow while I am running the game, on here, and in game? I am typing and it takes atleast 10 seconds for it to pop up...

I can attest that LupinHeritage is a great LS. Lots of really nice people that have made me feel at home since I recently returned after a many year break.

Just a little thing I noticed, if you find the artisan moogle, talk to it even after you got the mog sack, and then jsut select lst option to get out and it rewardsyou with a warp scroll, after you've used the scroll go back and do the same, you get infinate warp scrolls
