If i had to venture a guess, i'd say test server (or was that covered?)

everytime i go by maat or moogle, its jammed with afk people on cerb.

Update: It's now at the title screen, it's all in Japanese. So we know this person is a Japanese player. Question is, what server are they playing on?

This same feed is on the site now, so the mystery player was Squeenix? Must be their new feed or something, now using YouTube.

So the feed itself is nothing special. SE just talked about it via the DEVs on the official forums. They simply didn't think it was worth noting that they changed the feed (probably because nobody typically cares apart from me). The moogles that are seeming to spring up with these strange messages have been explained.

As it turns out, someone has been exploiting the daily reward system that they implemented (the one with the goblins) from the most recent update. Using some sort of 3rd party program, they were able to guarantee themselves the best of the 3 possible item drops. Using that system, a few (yet to be named) players have been netting themselves a hand full of Novio Earrings, HNM pops for K. Behemoth etc... and even Pandemonium Keys. According to SE, the problem has been quietly fixed before the moogles ever appeared. Seems it wasn't enough for them to reprimand those involved. They had to issue a warning to the remaining populace as well. Funny that a "big brother is watching" type message would have come from a moogle.

Anywho... nothing special. Interesting... but nothing new.

But that doesn't really explain much of the footage we saw last night, why was it in Jueno in Ru Lude Gardens, near Maat of all people?

A random choice. I've heard that prior to that position, it was angled to show feed from Kirin's chamber in Sky. If you were lucky enough, you could watch a live Kirin fight.

The old live feed operated the same way. it would show feed from a random spot in the game for hours and hours on end. The position of the camera would change every so often to a new spot (I don't remember if the server did too). It's nothing special. I'm glad that their live feed is working again, but its nothing to be concerned about.

they need to put the feed in more interesting places. watching people run to and from maat is...well it's pretty dull.

The feed used to go all over the place, specially where people were fighting. I remember watching the feed while I was waiting for my game to arrive on the mail.

Old xp spots used to be broadcast often, I used to watch the Citadel and the bat trains even before login in. XD

So I'm assuming they will upgrade the feed eventually so it goes around the world again.
