No response from FFXI Server.

Oh FFS. I just got the game working in better graphics, and it ran well. I alt-tabbed to post the forums about it. And when it closed out I restarted the game and then tried to login. Got the "No response from FFXI Server" then when I tried to come back in "Character is already logged in. Please wait a couple minutes then try again" Wait, then the same problem again.

Wait some more. It takes a few minutes for the server to refresh and see that you are no longer logged in. FFXI full screen is not ALT+TAB friendly. Either go windowed mode or get another device for browsing, etc.
