    [dev1026] Voidwatch: The Second Chapter

The upcoming version update will feature a new installment of the Voidwatch battle system.
    • Players will engage Voidwalkers in battle in the following new jurisdictions:
      • Jeuno Region
        • To participate:
          • Players who have completed up to stage four of the San d’Oria/Bastok/Windurst Voidwatch missions and seen the corresponding cutscene may join the operation by speaking to one of the Voidwatch officers stationed in the three nations.

      • Zilart Region
        • To participate:
          • Players level 75 and above who possess an Adventurer’s Certificate may join the operation by speaking to the NPC Kieran in Norg (I-8).
*The Zilart Voidwatch operation will be handled by special NPCs in place of the standard Voidwatch Officers.

Here is a video showing some of the new weapons that can be obtained. The names haven’t been finalized just yet, but the stats have been solidified. I also hear a rumor that the great katana has some hidden effect as well…Wonder what it could be…

    That Sword. Do want.

(And it would make me not care in the least if Temper did overwrite Enspells.)

The GKT makes SAM relevant? That'd be a power.

          Meh.

Empyrean or gtfo. TP drain on sword is probably shitty, and even if it isn't it'd have to be very high (10+) to compete with Chant. Same with GKT, hidden effect needs to be super strong to be even remotely close to Amano or Masa.

Dagger might make a good offhand if the "severe damage" is strong enough and procs often enough to warrant over Twilight.

And before anyone even tries to say it, you're far more likely to finish an Empyrean then get one of these VW drops. That's just how shitty the drop system is.

No the dagger will be better. It doesn't do severe damage, it does severe damaTe. That's something COMPLETELY new...

Also, the other languages all say "damage."

That "Severe" damage will have to be pretty... well, severe lol, to warrant offhanding it over Twilight. Quad Attack + TP drain is pretty bitching, and the only THF that will main this are those who don't already have Mandau/Twashtar (and Twash is fairly easy to get - as I said previously, certainly easier than spamming VW only to see it finally drop but to the wrong person.)
