Re: Job Adjustments! (8/19/2011)
I'm not sure why you're so fired up about these changes. 1.) They don't make RDM in any way useful or more powerful with the way the game is played, and 2.) You don't have a RDM that can use any of these new abilities anyway. But I guess it makes your theoretical RDM that you've been playing for several years now more awesome. In which case, congrats on your new power-boost.

I really don't understand SE's design choices, given the job manifesto they laid out for Red Mage. I really and truly do not.

Re: Job Adjustments! (8/19/2011)
Man... the more I think about it... the more I realize how disappointed I am with these last few THF updates. We've really gotten the shaft these last few. I'd really love to have something that makes it so THF brings more to the table than TH. TH III was the last good thing we really got. I'd love to have another dmg dealing ability like SA/TA. I'd even be slightly excited if SE made crossbow worthwhile. I've often wondered why THF doesn't get any WS's with crossbow.
Idk... intimidation might be okay... just dependent on many factors. But, no matter, it's dissapointing.

Re: Job Adjustments! (8/19/2011)
Should have been a double attack "sphere" effect. That would give an actual reason for a rdm to be on the front lines with the melee.

Now I agree, that's just plain weird.
Not that I don't appreciate it, but . . .

Re: Job Adjustments! (8/19/2011)
Im excited to have a reason to use Ramuh. I can't say it's a great reason... but it's a reason.
Also... Kakka sounds like a cool new addition to the NIN ARSEnal (get it? *snicker*). I'm not so sure about the new JA though. Increases parry? I mean... it's really going to depend what the duration/recast/boost it ends up granting. Time will tell.
For COR... a roll for conserve TP? Lame. A roll for Regain& Regen!? AWSOME!!! Owait...it's for pets.

Re: Job Adjustments! (8/19/2011)
Companion's Roll (Lv. 95)
Grants "Regain" and "Regen" effects to pets of party members within area of effect. Lucky Number: 2.
Temper (RDM Lv. 95)
Grants the ability to occasionally attack twice.
. . . oh wait, it's not a self-cast? in that case, yes, yet another thng to add to the haste / refresh cycle, and still troll-ey, just in a different way
And I'm still not to impressed with what PUP gets.
