It shows people are only doing missions for the tangible rewards, and WotG doesn't unlock any zones or particularly impressive gear. Too bad, because they did a pretty good job with WotG. It's not too hard to do with 3 people at level 90 if you really want to, though.

What amused me about this Census:

At least three players dropped their Claustrum since the last survey.

Burtgang is not only the only Mythic Weapon to cross the 100 mark, but there are somehow also more Burtgangs in existence than the next two most popular Mythics combined (Yagrush and, strangely enough, Kogarasumaru).

As previously mentioned in this thread, the image of a Sand Sweeper just standing there, sandwiched by two much more intimidating pictures of giant freaking dragons. What hasn't been pointed out, though, is that the Omodaka Armor (17th) is only to places behind Rani herself (15th)!

Finally, concerning Linkshells . . . geez, Odin 226, why don't you guys take a chill pill! o_O And while I'm asking, does anybody (Cotners?) know who Carbuncle 90 is?

The plot got pretty weak around the end as well. It started off OK but SE dragged it out for just so long it lost a lot of it's punch. Plus, despite the greatly improved animations such as NPCs visibly crying, it just wasn't as good as CoP or ToAU over all.

I just didn't like the quests that were tied to your nation in between. I still intend to finish the storyline but it has a pretty low priority level for me.

I liked the nation quests, but they should have been separate stories.

Agree with everything you said there.

The Windy set was really good, imo. Good twist, good characters for the most part. It gives a whole new dimension to the Windy rank missions to know exactly what happened to Karuha-Baruha and how he managed to somehow both succeed and fail his summoning in epic fashion. I did the quests with a couple of old school rangers who had some of their dreams come true in the final cutscenes. Not being a rng I didn't get the whole effect, but I gather it fleshes out their AF story.

I've only finished the San d'Oria quests, still need to do Bastok & Windy. I really enjoyed Excenmille & The Young Griffons' story.

Sure, if one or two of them are heavy DD or that mythical creature, the "well geared BLU". Guess which jobs are the ones most likely to be in Abyssea playing Final Empyrean Upgrade XI? Hint: not the players with mostly mage*/support jobs. (*counting BLU as a DD, not a mage, of course)

As if it wasn't hard enough to get three people together to do something outside Abyssea these days anyhow.

Not to mention those awesome half-hour cutscenes to speed the mission progress along.
