    Assistance needed

    I am attempting to do a magicians trial particularly

    Trial 296 - FFXIclopedia, the Final Fantasy XI wiki - Characters, items, jobs, and more

    Trial 296 for axe. But I don't know how to flag the quest. I have 2 choppers and want to flag both quests yet how do you do it. When I kill crabs in the right weather i am gettting nothing .
    Whm- 90, BLM-90, BST-90, PLD-90,

    Played from 2003-2006, Quit when my son was born

    Returned in 2011.

    Yes I am an old time player who learned to play the hard way.

      You need to trade the weapons to the moogles first to get them marked.

      Don't worry, when the Magian Trials first came out I spent 8 hours camping Stray Mary for all 3 kills before realising that. I still don't have all three kills either since there's ALWAYS another WHM camping that bloody NM.

        Why don't you just ask the WHM to team up? You'd both get credit.

          That's just crazy talk. This is FF:FPS, its all about competition and beating everyone else.

            What Mhurron said. A lot of newer players seem convinced that only one person ever gets credit for the NM kills. Than and if I run into a Japanese NM, my horrible attempts at Japanese tend to scare people away.

              Well, try harder maybe. Otherwise you're going to have a really frustrating go of things. :/

                  What's wrong with the wikia site? People are still editing it. I often find that a wikia page has been updated with information that gamerescape doesn't have. Not that there's likely to be any difference in content at this point for Magians.

                      Wikia's administrative control over the sites they host has historically been a PITA to deal with. As an anecdote, remembering WikiFur's departure from Wikia a few years back makes me wonder why the guys behind FFXIclopedia didn't follow suit sooner.

                        Wikia is still superior to GE in terms of breadth of information. That new site is awful.

                            Yeah, I don't see this. GE was basically copypasta'd from Wikia in the first place; the only reason Wikia still gets any updates at all is because some players are apparently scared of change.
