    This whole post makes no sense whatsoever. If these are the types of people that you play with, you'd probably be better off quitting.

      For me it's not so much targeting that's an issue. It's that most of my spells have a fairly limited range, so if it doesn't stay in something of the same area, I can't get it.

      Also, if you're a whm blm or rdm, you have multiple tools at your disposal for getting the mob to stop or slow down. Try one of those instead of just running around.

        Well, first of all, if the tank isn't already in /attack, wtf? Unless the girly mage runs far enough to lose sight of the mob, it should still stay targeted. Also, unless you're in a big battle (like campaign battle or besieged), the F8 key will likely target the mob.

        Of course, the real reason DDs hate that is it shows when they're paying more attention to the TV, because they stand there facing where the mob used to be.

          Unless everyone's been hit by something nasty like Breakga or a hate reset, there's really no reason for the mages to go down lol.

          Just sit your ass down , flash/stun/gravity/bind if need be and wait. And if your defensive buffs are down well that's your own damn fault 9/10.

            I actually find Bind to be fairly useless in party situations. Either because it's a NM that's completely immune or because the DDs break the bind right away but are too weak and puny to reclaim hate, so the mob just keeps wandering toward me and chewing on my face.

              Yea, that is true. I haven't played the game in a while, and forgot that. But, I'm also talking about like on big pulls, where the puller pulls non stop like in abyssea, and one of the mobs wakes up, and it targets the healer due to healing the puller, or the one that it has hate atm.

              I used to be a bit guilty of that though. I would have the TV on during grind fests, but I would never let my character just sit there and just stare off into space if the mob moved. I was able to keep a look at both screens. I even did that main healing on my rdm. hehehe...

                      Incase you haven’t tried it out yet, I believe all top tier chests I destroyed gave 50 cruor, which actually isn’t too shabby. Couple earlier chests gave 20s & 30s.

                      Sadly…once you click the destroy option, they just depop. A Mijin Gakure animation would have been much cooler.
