Skilling Up at Level 90.

I am a returning player from about 5 years ago. I started over on the Asura server.

Anyway, i found it extremely difficult to get parties past level 55. Therefore I level synced from 55 all the way to 85 in Wajoam Woodlands.

I then purchased th Abyssea Edition of FFXI a couple of days ago and got to level 90.

Anyway, from all that level syncing my Sword is under skilled.

I thought it would level up more while i was getting merits in ABY, but its not going so well.

I am currently at about 255 sword skill (minus the 8 points from merit i put in).

Where can skill up solo? (By the way, Im a Paladin, so not the best solo job)

or...a place where i can get good skill ups with a friend or two?

Man, you really have been out of it for years haven't you? The Boyahda Tree has been to go-to place for skillups since forever. If you find yourself not getting skillups you just climb higher into it, and even into Dragon's Aery if need be.

Flamingos in Sky work, too, I believe... though I'm not sure for what level.

Also, if you have access to dancer, sub that for better survivability.
