No worries. But hey... between you and me... I got a hookup with a guy who sells baby powder for cheap. Just sayin'

Sorry, just a bit crabby today. Has nothing to do with Aks.

We got that. But that was then, and we're talking about the state of the game now.

Well yeah, but I'm just saying. It had to take a lot longer than that to delevel even before all the xp changes.

Cut that estimation by a third or more. And that's without any real effort.

If you create the mule as a MNK, it's pretty fast regardless. It took me about three hours to get to 12 MNK on my mule for sync muling, and this was back in early to mid 2009.

As fast as exp flies these days, this would probably be faster than deleveling used to be.

Deleveling, to me, was the most inefficient way of getting a sync mule in the first place.

So it just occurred to me that astral burns are now as good as dead. (As if they weren't already from Abyssea, and reduced in importance from the XP adjustments.)

You can't de-level below 30 anymore, so a major source of sync mules is now gone. All that's left is un-levelled jobs or creating a temp mule and rushing it up to 12.

And for the most part they're probably right.

I did dynamis-Xarc last night with 5 people (Thf/Thf/Nin/Whm/Blm). To be honest, I think I like the change.

Playing whm w/o those refresh atmas was rather difficult, but I managed (I’ll admit I burnt the job from 50 ish to 90). It also didn’t help that the other members didn’t wanna camp anywhere for more than 10 seconds…they wanted to roam/explore. It was also difficult to find safe spots to rest out of AoE and agro ranges too.

Anywho, these are like regular zones now. Demons roam and often go into spots where you can pull one at a time. They link by normal means instead of groups like they used to. Nothing we fought spawned more demons either (eyes/statues). Pets (drg and bst wyverns) depoped upon killing the master which I don’t recall happening before.

I’d say in the hour we were there we got mix of 7 or 8 currency pieces, but I don’t think we get any procs (as I heard there’s a proc system there). Lots of Relic, roughly 7-10 pieces including the all-mighty rdm hat.

Definitely solo/duo friendly if you’re merely there for relic gear. And after all this time along with all new gear, I’m ok with that

They must be, otherwise I don't see how anyone could have thought this was a good idea.
