So did they update the stats on relic armour or make entirely new sets with this revision?

A big thanks to SE actually. This is going to make it even easier to wrap a few things up that I want to do, quit and never look back.

Well yeah but I meant like, if Dynamis was 3 hours before and it's still 3 hours ... and you can go every single day for three hours now instead of every three days for three hours, you have more opportunity to get currency. SE recognized that and lowered the drop rate, also taking into account that multiple groups can enter at the same time which is as close as it will ever get to instanced content ... so they are taking that all in and realizing that if they left the currency drop rates the same, there would be relics, relics, everywhere!

It is part of the abyssea story that if you stay in another dimension too long, you won't be able to go home. Turning the rest of Vana'diel into abyssea sounds like ironic punishment.

    This. So fucking hard.

I take solace in the fact that CoP Dynamis zones remain unchanged. Call me crazy but I liked the way Dynamis was set up as an event. The drop rates and the incompetent people not so much, but the event design was fun for me.

Yeah they completely fucked up Garlaige & Crawler's Nest...

Also, lots of QQ over Dynamis going on. Just finished reading over at BG, they've even turned Dynamis into Abyssea. Mobs are MUCH stronger than they were before, you can proc !! now and currency drop rates are just pure shit now. 2 coins in 45 minutes? WTF!?

Infact this may help new players. There are plenty of people that somehow still don’t know how to avoid being detected.
Anyone that can't be bothered to experiment or look up how detection works isn't going to learn this way - they're just going to get killed. You could already practice walking behind Beastmen in the comfort of Ronfaure/Sarutabaruta/Gustaberg.

And if you're a real hard-ass looking for a challenge there's better places to look - like making the trip from Sea Serpent Grotto to Kazham on foot.

Except most of these areas are places where you never needed to avoid aggro in the first place or didn't need it after a point.

Example: By rights, I should be able to walk right through Rangemount Pass on my 48 BLU without having to use meds. However, the level 90 Ahrimans and Goblins standing in my way since last night disagree! Well, I guess I didn't really need to save meds.

Some areas have better placement than others, I'll admit, but I mean, seriously.

Racked up 9 Carabosse's Gems tonight after months of barely any progress. Can confirm she drops a Coin & Card of Voyage now.
Solo'd her on Bst a while back, and now she can drop bst feet+2 items /joy!

Didn’t you always need some form of sneak/invs in these areas though? And generally if you solo running through and got agro, there was a good chance you’d die anyways? I may run to some areas tonight and just poke around to see what the hype is but I’m not seeing a major problem.

HAHAHAHAHA you know what - fuck new players. If they wanted to play a SE MMO, they should have signed up for XIV.

No seriously, because as Elwynn said, they will never get killed.

I'm curious to see just how badly they've fucked things up with new mob placement.
