    SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    Racked up 9 Carabosse's Gems tonight after months of barely any progress. Can confirm she drops a Coin & Card of Voyage now.

    My beef with it is that at least the old way was a direct formula from the TNL. Looking at that graph, I'm not sure what formula they're using now.

    At high level these days, the 1200 or 2400 (or even 3600 if you're really unlucky) isn't all that much. Half an hour in campaign, or a few minutes of Dominion Ops.

    The new font basically sucks. It's readable a bit farther in the distance than before but it's t o o w i d e, geez. And it's not just used over people's heads either. Don't let people with no concept of graphic layout design fonts. In particular, if they don't know what "tracking" means.

    Brilliant. Because (with the sole exception of Seaboard Vultures) the previous ones are soooooo popular. At least the previous ones were actually out of the way. But Zeruhn Mines? GMAFB. There hasn't been this much fail with new mobs in old areas since the hunt registry/synergy crap NMs like Tegmine.

    EDIT: it says that Treat Staff II was changed to 1 hour. That is wrong. But 20 hours is still a lot better than the 5 days it used to be.

    Hmm it's more like rather than a penalty, it added a feeling of danger and excitement for me as in some other MMOs that I play. I can understand, I'm not looking to argue the matter, it's just sad for me to see it change (for me).

    I'm pretty ok with the new font. The emphasis on everything is a bit unnecessary but it's very clean. Don't think I'll reinstall the mod.

    I can deal with being fukkin L a g o rather than simply Lago.

    NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, I just checked the forums cause I still couldn't login. It's after 10PM here. Good thing I literally slept till 4, did the patch, and then went back to bed at 7 soas to not waste my FFXI time! Screw Japan, I'll be up ALL night and ALL day tomorrow. They can't kill my gametime!

    No need for a map either! You only have 2 floors to move around and to Aby away!

    I guess I'll start up Portal 2 now that I can just to finally see what it looks like. <_<;

    And a freaking map, ahem. Or have you forgotten that HT is a no-map no-grid area, just like a BCNM or Nyzul?

    And it's all about the shouts, which is why this really won't help. Especially when Windurstians have to walk two miles uphill just to get into that zone. Too bad they didn't put some of those NPCs in Chocobo Circuit.

    As for file check, I left it at the POL->FFXI screen this morning. When I came home a couple of hours ago, it was at Check Version. And I've already finished the download, but it had to be restarted twice.

    EDIT: Oh crazy, the background art just went away and now it's a solid blood red. I thought I was looking at a SNES game title screen for a moment.

    <---- Would suggest doing the file check now that it's already available to avoid congestion later on.
