Because it's something that took so long for so many people to get and it dropped on like the first mob while they were duoing Dynamis? I find that kind of funny, in an offbeat sort of way.
Relic drops have been a joke though for a while now. I think I mentioned a few days ago I went with 5 other LS members (none of us experienced at pulling there) and we got about 5 or 6 pieces. Including Rdm head which no one really needed.
I might try it tonight. Seems like the casual group can go do some mini farming but you need an experienced group to get though the tougher areas.
So what exectly do you need to do now to get access to Dynamis?
As far as I've heard you buy a KI from the gobbies at the entrances to the beastmen strongholds for about 50k. Hadn't heard if it's a one time buy or if you need to purchase one evertime.
Yeah... so far all I know is that I can store 'crests" and I got a Prishe statue that's too small to give a damn about. Oh... and they changed the font for everything.
Any opinions expressed are my own, and potentially unpopular with others. Should this be upsetting, maybe, read it again, insert smiley faces, rainbows, and glitter as needed.

Its a one time buy. 50k for access to oldlands dynamis forever. Timeless hourglass is still available for CoP dynamis, but that will probably change in September.
I logged on this morning to see how the new changes were implimented.
The Abyssea NPCs that were placed in the 3 Nations are awsome. They are all located in the Port zone of each city... and at least in the case of Bastok... are very easily accessable (they're standing to the right of the birdge BEFORE you cross it. Nobody was near them when I checked them out... and I didn't really expect anyone to be. I anticipate that Jeuno will remain the central hub of all Abyssea group shouts and that the 3 nations will simply serve as an additional (see: easier) way to get to the zones if you have to pit-stop in your nation first.
I then went to Davoi to get the new KI they made for entry into Dynamis. Instead of costing 500k... it's only 50k. Otherwise... it operates te exact same way. They still offer the option to buy the original 500k Hourglass as well... I assume this is to reduce the cost of entry by a large group. 50k x 18people = 900k orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 500k for the original hourglass. It makes sense.
The new KI expires (from what I can tell) upon entry and needs to be re-obtained.
Edit: Nope... you keep it forever. CoP Dynamis needs to be the Hourglass. Changes to this are expected.
The zone can now support many parties at the same time... co-existing... and it's disorienting to watch as another group works alongside you... but not towards a common goal.
Respawn rate has been adjusted and the mobs now respawn about as fast as Abyssea mobs (5min... ish). This makes it a little hard to work THROUGH the zone to a certain area... but makes it incredibly simple to solo from the entry area. Pull a mob, kill it... pull a mob kill it. Farming will be a walk in the park... but clearing a zone might not be.
re-distribution of mobs seems only slight... some of the NMs as well as statues seem to have been moved.
Time Extention can be capped at 120 minutes... but no more. Because we only went in with a small group... I'm unsure if it's possible to constantly farm TE mobs to keep the time capped. This is something I want to investigate further.
Drop rate is still high. We only had 3 people and we only laster 20 minutes (because we went too far in) and we still walked out with DRG AF2 Feet.
OTHER THAN DYNAMIS:
Drops in abyssea for certain items seem to have been altered. Sobek appears to drop Cards/Coins of Ardor... previously dropped by other NMs. I haven't tried killing anything like Bennu to see if they were simply SWAPPED... but it might be the case.
Physical Based WS in Abyssea now cause Pearlscent lights... not Ruby (or it would seem... I got 1 ruby and 5 pearl out of 6 kills trying this).
The new Lights counter for abyssea that activates upon resting is AWSOME. It won't show anything until you get your first light... so to see it in action you'll ened to actually get at least 1 light first.
Uhh...
I havent tried any of the new Kindred Crest BCNMs yet... but from what I hear... they're a huge pain in the ass and noone has gotten anything good out of one yet. Time will tell. There may be something like the K club in one of them. If it's a low drop rate... it may take a while for any of the good stuff to make the press.
The Pirshe statue is cool... but ultimately a useless waste of space.
No news yet on Voidwalkers. I'm checking those out for myself this weekend.
This has been Yyg Burgundy reporting... stay classy Vanadiel.
Mobs are no longer true sight/sound in Dyna btw. Statues and NMs still are, but regular mobs aren't (they're also a LOT tougher than before so 90 is required now which is fucking stupid)
The old NMs are now all lottery pops, with the zone bosses being popped via KIs. From what I'm hearing on BG though, NMs are dropping 100's like candy, so while singles got nerfed to shit if you farm NMs you should come out with a bunch of 100's every time.
Statues can be killed for TE's, though only once per group of them or something. That is, you can't kill the same statue over again for TE.
