I didn't realize at first that this was download only?

No thanks, SE. If I'm going to buy this all over again I want a mostly up-to-date installer disc to go along with it.

I'll just wait until I find out where the hell I lost my last year's disc (with the code on it I need to activate ACP, etc.) Because without a disc, the only thing I'll get for my money is another code to activate the three mini-expansions and an exclusive item that is hardly essential.

Is anyone's Abyssia Collection Key working with their old accounts?

I bought the collection off Amazon last night and was able to apply it to my current account. For the Abyssea content you have to go to the FF11 screen, Content ID, Register ID in the Expanded Services column, select one of the Abyssea options when it gives you a choice, then type in the key. Afterwards it'll ask you if you want to do One-Time Registration. You want this option as it'll register the rest of the content.

For the Destrier Beret you have to register it at FF11 screen, Optional Service, Reward Code Registration.

Thing is, though, those pants are probably the most worthwhile (and most definitely the most flexible) of each of the three final add-on rewards. Unfortunately, like the other two add-on final rewards, they are by a wide margin the most worthwhile thing about the add-on at all.

Which is why I, personally, am holding out for an Ultimate Collection 2. Buying ASA itself? Pass. ASA as a bonus with Abyssea (and that Nexus Cape to boot)? Sure why not.
